The new series tries to answer questions that were left open ended in the original, Those questions however are not worth enough to keep a viewer interested in this spin off. The 'new Cata' leaves much to be desired. Carmen Villalobos, in her original role, played a much more believable teenager: smart, sassy, stubborn and very relatable. For starters, in her efforts to play the role of a teenager, 32 yr old Carolina Gaitan has dumbed herself down so much that the "new Cata" is painful to watch. The story begins to repeat its self as it seem that Catalina is following her older sisters examples in search for easy money through prostitution. In the past this child's mother had her children murdered and to get over this pain she had a baby and named her Catalina, the same name as her former daughter. A young girl faces hard times ahead once she crosses the line her parents drew in order to keep her away from the outside world.
